Description
Our cheese dairy is a family business, run by Daniel Amstutz and his son Menno. Our flagship product is Tête de Moine. Alongside it, we also produce the local specialties Moron-Bio, Fornet (certified local product) and Gruyère PDO.
50 milk producers, grouped together in 1 dairy company, deliver over 6.4 mio. kg of milk produced without silage. This milk is processed by 4 specialized cheesemakers and 7 employees.
Our products are of the highest quality.
Our high-quality products enjoy a good reputation on the national and international markets. One of the characteristics of our company is the direct sale of our products (export / mass distribution / retail trade and sales to individuals). For local sales at the small store a saleswoman is happy to serve customers.
Our cheese is made from top-quality mountain milk.
It matures in our own cellars and is matured in the air of the Jura mountains, thanks to many secrets of the Master Cheesemaker, who passes these on from generation to generation in absolute discretion.
