Why naturopathic medicine? What is so special about it?
"Biological medicine does not treat diagnoses or symptoms, but the whole person!"
The naturopath advocates the extensive avoidance of pharmaceutical products with their often dangerous side effects. He speaks the language of the patients, it is very important to us to make them understand how physical and mental sensitivities are connected.
The naturopath is independent, free from influences and interests, such as the pharmaceutical industry or other lobbyists, he calls a spade a spade and is committed to the well-being of the patient.
Physiotherapy treatment is based on the patient's complaints and functional, movement or activity limitations, which are identified during the physiotherapy examination. It uses both diagnostic and clinical reasoning-based skills as well as the therapist's pedagogical and manual skills. If necessary, it is supplemented by natural physical stimuli (e.g. heat, cold, pressure, radiation, electricity) and promotes the patient's own activity (coordinated muscle activity and conscious perception). The treatment is adapted to the anatomical, physiological, motivational and cognitive characteristics of the patient. The treatment is aimed on the one hand at natural, physiological reactions of the organism (e.g. muscle development and metabolic stimulation), and on the other hand at an improved understanding of how the organism works (dysfunctions/resources) and at taking responsibility for one's own body. The aim is to restore, maintain or promote health and very often to eliminate or reduce pain.
