Founded in 1803 as a meeting place for politicians, writers, artists and notables, it became Lugano's Salotto. Resy Canonica was born in Lugano, Switzerland, where she lived her childhood and the following school time. She began her studies at the University of Pavia, in Italy, where she majored in Political Science and immediately after to finalize the specialization moved to Germany, in Freiburg, Frankfurt and Giessen, where she earned a Doctorate in Social Science with the publication of “The End of Suharto ‘s New Order” (Ed. Peter Lang). After the academic stage, she had opportunity to start her career working on the field as journalist for Press, Radio and TV in Switzerland and abroad. In 2002 she moved to the newscast of Radiotelevisione Svizzera Italiana (RSI) as correspondent in Frankfurt, special correspondent and anchor. Accogliente, ottima cucina con cuoco e pizzaioli italiani, grande cortesia e simpatia, prezzi competitivi per la buona qualità dell’offerta.Un fatto nuovo nel panorama Luganese con divertenti e intriganti feste e eventi , organizzati settimanalmente. Un vero meeting-point , Treft-Punkt e Agorà dove incontrarsi e socializzare. Con un unico ed eccezionale angolo per i bambini per il quale mamme e papa’ possono sentirsi liberi , accontentando entrambe le parti.

Il ravioli: La pasta troppo bianca per essere una pasta all'uovo come converrebbe per i ravioli. Troppo liscia e insapore. Il ripieno che doveva essere ai funghi porcini, non ne aveva né il sapore né il profumo. Molto deludenti. Migliori le orecchiette alle cime di rapa, che hanno fatto alzare il mio giudizio a sufficiente.

Das Restaurant ist sehr gut gelegen unweit vom Strand des Sees und zwischen zwei anderen Lokalen mit Gartenwirtschaft. Während der Autoshow letztes Wochenende ab und zu etwas sehr lärmig. Die tolle Bedienung vom charmanten Personal und die feinen und vielfältigen Speisen sowie Weine wogen dieses Manko jedoch mehr als auf. Wir genossen vom 03.09. - 05.09.21 viermal das Abendessen in diesem Lokal. Sehr empfehlenswert. Lieben Dank und Gruss von Margrith und Geri aus St. Gallen.
