Even as a child, Luigi developed a remarkable sense of aesthetics, imbued with the poetry and perfume of the rose gardens, the coquetry of the ladies and the Italian art of living. His love of women, beauty and creation led him to conceive four daughters with Barbara - his Venetian beauty wife - and to build four businesses: a dermatology practice, a contemporary art gallery (Analix Forever), an institute of aesthetic medicine and a line of dermo-cosmetic treatments (Alchimie Forever). "On our walks, my mother always found four-leaf clovers and was happy to give them to me. They'll bring you luck," she said. Dr Polla Ambitious, Dr. Polla chooses to practice his medical training abroad for several years. He left for the United States in 1984 with his wife and daughters. It was there that he discovered, alongside his mentor Professor Rox Anderson, the laser technology applied in numerous skin therapies. Upon his return to Geneva in 1986, he opened his practice and immediately created a laser platform unique in Europe. As his local success grew, patients from all over the world (Mexico, Germany, Italy, England, South Africa...) also came to consult him. In 1987, a headline in the Swiss daily newspaper Le Matin stated that "he makes them skin", thus establishing his reputation as a pioneer in aesthetic dermatology. His passion for his profession stimulated him to work hard and his unfailing availability is still remembered today by his patients. Bold and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and the desire to pass on the fruits of his labour to his four daughters, Dr. Polla created Forever Laser Institut in 1997. Located at the rue du Rhône, Forever will be the first centre of aesthetic medicine in Switzerland. From then on, Dr. Polla delegates the whole of the laser treatments to his colleagues therapists to dedicate himself only to the injection techniques and to the development of aesthetic treatments. Thus, during the last twenty-five years, the Institute has never stopped innovating. Thanks to Dr. Polla's vision and his deep knowledge of the industry, the Forever team has tested and introduced in Switzerland, in preview, no less than ten devices that have revolutionized the field of aesthetic medicine. This is one of the reasons why Dr. Polla is invited to give conferences around the world. The hyaluronic acid Softlift technique, a creation of Dr. Polla, will complete his constant search for excellence in the service of his clients. For many years, Dr. Polla ran the Institute with his wife Barbara. Barbara helped the business flourish with her media personality, natural panache and innate public relations skills. In 2004, Dr. Polla seized the opportunity to realize his dream as a young student, namely to move into the Tour du Molard: 600m2 and an ever-growing team. Finally, faithful to his desire to transmit his work to them, he decides to bequeath the shareholding of the Institute to his four daughters, and becomes an active member of the boards of directors of Forever Institut and Alchimie Forever. Dr. Polla's wish is to remain an active doctor, both in dermatology and in aesthetic medicine.
