The Sunedörfli rehabilitation center is located in the countryside far away from Zurich. Here, one residential and three work buildings form a harmonious whole. The "Outpatient residential support AWB" and the "Residential and work externat WAEx" departments are attached.

Target group

Our rehab center admits men and women aged 18 and over who are addicted to addictive substances, who have successfully completed (partial) physical withdrawal and choose Sunedörfli on a voluntary basis or as an inpatient correctional facility (in accordance with Art. 60 StGB). It is not suitable for children and adolescents, people with a significant physical and/or mental disability, people with acute psychoses and/or suicidal tendencies. Pets are allowed by prior arrangement.

• Willingness and ability to undergo therapy
• Entry with substitution possible (e.g. methadone, Subutex, Sevre-Long)
• Negative urine sample and negative breath alcohol test on admission
• Entry directly from an institution (withdrawal, prison, etc.) or an outpatient, medically supervised withdrawal with proof of abstinence

Admission procedure

• Contact by the applicant themselves or the funding body
• Submission of a letter of motivation incl. addiction CV
• Preliminary interview, ideally a visit
• Cost credit agreement desired
