NEW ! Eye acupuncture for various eye conditions
Eye acupuncture
Eye acupuncture is a special, unique and extremely effective method for treating various eye conditions, which was discovered by Prof. John Boel from Denmark. It is not traditional Chinese acupuncture, but a special treatment system.
The treatment points are mainly the finger and toe joints. The placement of the needles immediately activates a healing process in which hormones and other healing substances reach the disturbed area via the bloodstream.
The following medically diagnosed eye diseases can be treated with eye acupuncture according to Prof. J. Boel
Application areas:
Macular degeneration (age-related blindness)
Retinitis pigmentosa
Various retinal diseases
Eye infarction (eye thrombosis)
Farsightedness
Glaucoma
Grey cataracts (at the initial stage)
Visual impairment after accidents or operations
Dry or watery eyes
Retinal disease caused by diabetes (diabetic retinopathy)
Viral eye disease (e.g. herpes in the eye)
Viral eye disease (e.g. herpes in the eye)
Short-sightedness in children up to the age of 20
Computer vision syndrome (CVS)
Not all eye conditions can be completely cured. However, most eye conditions can be greatly alleviated or the progression of the disease can be slowed down. Often, existing vision can not only be maintained, but even improved. Only short-sightedness or myopia and cataracts at an advanced stage can only be treated to a limited extent. Eye acupuncture is a useful addition to conventional eye treatment by your ophthalmologist.
The diagnosis
Diagnosis is the most important part of Chinese medicine. It consists of four principles:
- Inquiry
- Discomfort, eating habits, sensation of heat or warmth in the body, numbness, dizziness, sleep, family, social situation and X-rays
- Observation
- Face, posture, movement, shape
- Hearing and smelling
- Breathing, coughing, voice, smell of excretions
- Examination
- Pulse: fast, slow, full, empty, deep, superficial Tongue: coating, color, moist, dry
Through diagnosis, the entire body image of the person can be determined and the pathological factors of the disease or diseases can be recognized at an early stage. This allows traditional Chinese medicine to promote health preventively and individually with targeted measures.
The human organism is regarded as an organic unit. "Health" means a person's ability to maintain their inner harmony. Diseases are caused by a disruption to the harmonious flow of qi and the yin/yang balance.

Tuina massage
Tuina massage is a traditional Chinese massage based on various massage techniques. It is primarily suitable for musculoskeletal complaints. It uses special hand techniques and special manipulations
It is also very suitable for small children with loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, sleep disorders, constipation, coughs and colds, as it is a particularly gentle healing massage.

Herbal therapy
Chinese herbal therapy is an essential form of TCM therapy. In China, more than 3000 substances of plant (roots, bark, flowers and leaves), animal and mineral origin are used. The herbs are classified according to special criteria: they are put together differently according to taste, thermal properties, meridian/organ reference, special effect and indication.
- Herbal therapy is also based on the principle of yin/yang and the five elements. It is aimed at the individual causes of illness, the main symptoms and ultimately at harmonizing the body's energy. This enables it to successfully treat many complaints. It is very suitable for both chronic and acute illnesses.
- Dried and pressed medicinal mugwort herbs are used for moxibustion. The burnt herb generates heat and stimulates the flow of blood and qi. The moxa stick is either attached to an acupuncture needle or held by hand near the meridian point. Special heat lamps can also be used instead of moxa sticks. Patients experience a pleasant feeling of warmth that gets under their skin. This expels so-called pathological factors such as wind, cold and phlegm from our bodies. The warming of the meridians also leads to an improved flow of blood and Qi.
The success of moxibustion in correcting a baby's breech positions in the womb has been clinically proven at a high rate. - Impairment of qi and an imbalance of yin and yang leads to illness. The vital energy may be too strong or too weak. A blockage of the life energy Qi can cause pain and illness.
Acupuncture aims to restore the balance between Yin and Yang so that the life energy Qi can flow throughout the body without stagnation.
Moxibustion
The Chinese word "针灸" for acupuncture consists of two characters. The first character 针 means "acupuncture" and the second character 灸 means "moxibustion". This is a localized heat treatment that is often combined with acupuncture.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the best-known Chinese healing methods. The acupuncture points are 365 very specific points on the 12 meridians, the pathways through which the flow of Qi and therefore the function of all organs can be influenced.
The children's Tuina massage
Children's Chinese massage is a branch of Chinese medicine. It is also known as children's Tuina massage. However, as the meridians run differently in children than in adults, a special tuina technique is used according to the child's development. It is a very gentle healing massage that is successful in treating a wide range of complaints in young patients without any side effects.
The children's massage is suitable for fevers, colds, coughs, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, cramps, diarrhoea, constipation, restlessness, sleep disorders, bedwetting, asthma, allergies and hay fever.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient form of therapy. Cupping balls are used in this form of therapy. A cupping ball is a small, round glass with an opening. When heated, the air in the glass ball is displaced so that a vacuum is created when it cools. This creates a strong suction stimulus on the cupped area of the body and thus stimulates blood circulation. Cupping stimulates the human body's ability to defend itself against disease and eliminates disease-causing factors such as cold, phlegm, heat and stagnation qi. By moving the vacuumed cupping heads, a massage effect and stimulation of the lymph flow can also be achieved.
The treatment is suitable for people of all ages. The strong suction reflex can cause bruising (hematomas), but these are harmless and disappear by themselves after a few days.
Laser acupuncture
Laser acupuncture uses "gentle" laser beams that are practically imperceptible yet highly effective. They should not be confused with surgical lasers, which, in contrast, have an ablative or tissue-destroying effect.
Laser acupuncture has been used successfully in medicine for over two decades. Originally developed for pain-free acupuncture (laser light instead of metal needles), the procedure is now used for numerous diseases.
There are now over one hundred studies and publications in recognized journals that prove the efficacy and effectiveness of laser acupuncture. For example, the renowned journal The Lancet published a meta-study on the topic of "Laser for neck pain" in 2009. In this study, the low-energy laser beams used in laser therapy performed better than pain-relieving medication and without any undesirable side effects.
Laser acupuncture is particularly suitable for treating children and people who are afraid of needles
Application areas:
Pain therapy: headaches/migraines, back pain, joint pain, fibromyalgia
Orthopaedics/sports medicine: osteoarthritis, rheumatic diseases, oedema, strains, tennis elbow
Dermatology/allergy treatment: Acne, herpes, neurodermatitis, wound healing disorders, allergies
Neurology: headaches/migraines, sensory disturbances, trigeminal neuralgia, phantom pain, paralysis (post-stroke)
Digestive problems: constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhea
Women's diseases: Menstrual disorders
Nondiagnosable conditions and, in children, many other complaints
Qigong health
Qigong is a Chinese meditation, concentration and movement exercise that is also part of traditional Chinese medicine
.- This experience of unity is made possible by exercises that lead to the harmonization of QI, the life energy. This is intended to strengthen the life energy, prolong life and restore a joyful zest for life.
QIGONG is suitable for all ages; healthy and sick people alike can easily learn and perform the exercises with the help of a suitably trained teacher.
We currently offer our patients 2-3x Qi Gong sessions. This helps them to maintain their health and stabilize their state of health
