The food was excellent. Enough choices for the five of us. Some of us had burgers, others had the Rösti, and a steak. All were delicious and decent portions. Good service and friendly.

Chouette restaurant proposant l’essentiel de la cuisine Suisse. Je recommande spécialement le cordon bleu ou la chasse quand c’est la bonne saison. Sinon la carte varie toute l’année avec des menus de saison. Je recommande car je n’ai jamais été déçue. Le personnel est sympathique, actifs et réactif au service de ça Clientel. En plus ils font l’effort de parler en Français pour les moins doués en Berndeutsch

Ich bin im Restaurant Bahnhof Weissenbühl regelmässig zu Gast. Das Essen ist immer sehr lecker und die Preise sind für jedes Budget. Die Atmosphäre ist drinnen wie draussen im lauschigen Gartenrestaurant entspannt und angenehm. Das Servicepersonal freundlich, speditiv und zuvorkommend. Das Quartierrestaurant ist immer gut besetzt und es empfiehlt sich eine Reservation. Dass das Lokal gut besetzt ist spricht für sich. Dies ist sowohl am Mittag wie am Abend der Fall. Am Mittag stehen immer sehr günstige und leckere Menus zur Auswahl. Was ich schade finde ist, dass die Gaststätte am Samstag und Sonntag geschlossen hat. Dafür ist das Personal unter der Woche frisch und ausgeruht anwesend. Bravo ! Macht weiter so !

Ich war zum ersten Mal in der Frohegg. Das Essen, die Bedienung und das Ambiente waren alles top. Das Zürigschnätzlete war fantastisch, der Salat auch. Ich komme wieder.

Ein rundun gelungener Abend mit der Familie. Top Service, absolut feines essen, tolles Preisleistungsverhältniss, sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen immer wiedermal ins Restaurant Bären essen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht und werden weiterhin kommen. Sehr weiterzuempfehlen!

Das Essen (Tasting Menu) war sehr gut. Das Fleisch perfekt und Beilagen und Saucen sehr geschmackvoll. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und hat uns gut beraten. Gemütliche Ambiance, alles in allem ein super schöner Abend. Danke!

Ein Mittagessen zu zweit in ruhiger Umgebung, Gespräche können angenehm geführt werden. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, man könnte fast sagen "old school": So muss Service eigentlich sein! Das Essen - wir hatten Fisch - war ganz ausgezeichnet. Alles, vom Fisch über die Beilagen, frisch und frisch zubereitet, sehr lecker. Jederzeit wieder, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren zu zweit von 12.00 - 14.15 Uhr im Restaurant im 1. Stock. Trotz gut besuchtem Restaurant konnte man sich normal unterhalten - es wird nicht lärmig. Das Essen ist gut, der Service angenehm - Preis - Leistung stimmt.

Restaurant Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. / 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. Kitchen: Monday - Friday 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. / 6:00 p.m. - 9:45 p.m. While concert events in the theater hall, kitchen is open in the evening starting from 5:30 p.m.

Sehr angenehm überrascht. Angefangen beim perfekten Service, über Wein- und Speisenangebot, bis zum leckeren Dessert, alles auf sehr hohem Niveau und dennoch mit lockerem Ambiente. Wirklich toll!

The Motrice We offer a cheerful, friendly atmosphere. Our restaurant, café and bar are the perfect place to meet and catch up with friends over a coffee or glass of wine or sample our numerous gastronomic specialities, prepared by cook Ornella with great passion and exquisite attention to detail. Over the years, the Motrice Restaurant has been—and remains to this day—a favourite haunt of many artists among other habitués. Our guests have included famous names such as Wolfgang Hildesheimer, Sonja and Jan Wisse, Rudolf Blaser and Not Bott. Our restaurant seats 28 persons and has a vaulted roof, evoking the form of an old-style Bernina Railway engine. Our “Rudolf Blaser” dining room seats 32 persons and features ceiling paintings by the artist himself. Born in Berne, Rudolf Blaser lived in Poschiavo for more than 30 years. Finally, our smaller Nostalgia dining room, featuring the wall and windows of the old Motrice Restaurant, seats 14 persons. The walls at the Motrice are decorated with numerous historical photographs of Valposchiavo and paintings by well-known artists. We are also available to host group events, banquets, group lunches and all types of meetings. In the summer, for those who enjoy spending time outdoors, the Motrice Restaurant also serves guests outside, at the tables overlooking the square, next door to the Poschiavo Museum, with a gorgeous view of the old town of Poschiavo and the Sassalbo mountain. The restaurant’s history goes back more than one hundred years. Built by our great-grandfather, Bernardino Isepponi, it opened to the public in early 1912. In 1982, the old building was replaced by a new building designed by architect Prospero Gianoli. The modern, spacious new building houses a small shopping centre including the new Motrice Restaurant, the Isepponi printing house and the Bordoni bakery/confectioner's.
