The Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto, located in the historic centre of Lugano, is the privileged meeting place in Lugano to enjoy a good coffee, breakfast sweet or savoury pastry creations - all day long an aperitif, a delicious lunch with business partners or friends, with fresh pasta and tasty Mediterranean dishes (11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.) tasty afternoon dishes until 5 p.m. and to enjoy the unmistakable creations of the Confiserie Al Porto. Founded in 1803 as a meeting place for politicians, writers, artists and notables, it became Lugano's Salotto. The Restaurant & Café is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and delights its guests at any time of day. I ordered on 5.3.24 flowers and chocolate for the first time from Le Fleuriste for my Birthday’s Sister, I put a note to call my sister before delivering the items to make sure she was home. Not only did they call her, but the person who delivered the flowers was very friendly and even brought them to my sister on the third floor. She was extremely pleased with both the service and the products, which were exceptional and rare to find these days. I highly recommend Le Fleuriste in Zurich, as they truly go above and beyond.
