I am a general and visceral surgeon with a private practice in Geneva, Switzerland. I started my surgical internship in Greece in 2008 and in 2014 I was accredited as a general surgeon after completing a part of my training in France. Thereafter, I continued my post-CCT training in the UK (Royal Free London and Imperial College NHS Trusts) and in 2016 I moved to Geneva, Switzerland, where I worked in the departments of pediatric and visceral surgery. In 2020 I pursued a Royal College of Surgeons of England accredited fellowship in benign upper GI surgery at Torbay Hospital in the UK and in 2021 I returned to Switzerland and I worked in the department of surgery of the cantonal hospital of Fribourg as well as in the department of pediatric surgery of the university hospital of Geneva.I have a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of the different pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract and the abdominal wall.
