Its centuries-old history dates back to the nineteenth century when it was a landing point for goods from barges.An Osteria, yes, but different: in tones, colors, and signs. A menu proposal between innovation and tradition, with the lake and mountains blending and meeting in the menus of Chef Domenico Rezza.We accompany the dishes with a selection of local and Italian wines, served with care by our dining staff. The Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto, located in the historic centre of Lugano, is the privileged meeting place in Lugano to enjoy a good coffee, breakfast sweet or savoury pastry creations - all day long an aperitif, a delicious lunch with business partners or friends, with fresh pasta and tasty Mediterranean dishes (11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.) tasty afternoon dishes until 5 p.m. and to enjoy the unmistakable creations of the Confiserie Al Porto. Founded in 1803 as a meeting place for politicians, writers, artists and notables, it became Lugano's Salotto. The Restaurant & Café is open from Monday to Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and delights its guests at any time of day. It is open in the evening for events from 7 p.m., with prior booking, for aperitifs, receptions and dinners, from 12 to 80 persons. The Salotto di Lugano... since 1803.
