At the service of the citizen This important regional reality was born in 2005, thanks to a series of reflections already matured in the mid-90s. Following a feasibility study, which was followed by an analysis of the needs in the dental field of the Momo Region, an association under private law was set up, the Mendrisiotto and Basse Ceresio Regional Dental Service, which has agreements with all the Municipalities of the Mendrisiotto. To meet the treatment needs of our patients, even in cases of people with disabilities or who cannot reach the office, the Service is equipped with a portable unit to perform dental care and hygiene at home. The Foundation itself, owner of the grounds and headquarters in Via Beroldingen 3, has also carried out expansion and improvement works for the SMDR studio in order to make it more welcoming and functional.
