SHIATSUPRAXIS ISABELLE WIDMER

SHIATSU PRACTICE ISABELLE WIDMER

Shiatsu Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shiatsu is a Japanese form of body therapy. During treatment, the focus is on physical and mental imbalances, which are brought back into balance with acupressure, meridian treatment, stretching, various types of tapping and massage. This promotes the self-healing process, just as it can also support the maintenance of health. Work is done in comfortable clothing either on the futon or on the couch. All the further training I have attended and completed over the years is incorporated into the treatment. Methods Craniosacral Therapy A treatment technique originating from osteopathy, Craniosacral therapy is a complementary therapeutic application that stimulates the self-healing powers. Gentle touches are used in an attempt to perceive the rhythmic movements of the cerebrospinal fluid. the rhythmic movements of the cerebrospinal fluid and to influence them. Yoga Yoga is a health teaching from India that is over 3000 years old. With physical exercises, breathing techniques and meditation, the aim is to increase physical and mental health. In a one-to-one session, we work together to put together a yoga routine that is tailored to your personal challenges. Moxa/ Moxibustion The word moxibustion is composed of the Japanese word 'mogusa' (dried, finely grated leaves of mugwort) and the Latin 'combustico' (to burn). In TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), heated moxa is used to decongest scars, intensively affect acupuncture points or stimulate the chi (life energy). It came to Europe as early as the 16th century and even today many therapists work with the various manifestations of moxa. Scar removal Internal and external scars and scar tissue can have a disturbing effect on our whole system. A disturbing scar can cause feelings of tension, muscle tightness, circulatory problems, nerve irritation, numbness and pain. With scar removal we work towards making the scars 'permeable' again, making them flexible and supple so that the negative influences can be released. Gua Sha In the Far East, Gua Sha is mostly used as an initial treatment for flaring colds, but also for muscle tension and pain. Intensive rubbing with a jade stone or a ceramic spoon on oiled skin stimulates increased blood circulation, which can support the healing process. Senn-Hof Zollikerberg

Sennhofweg, 8125 Zollikerberg
The SENN-HOF is a children's riding school on the outskirts of the city of Zuric

Nestled in the rural atmosphere of Zollikerberg, away from noise and traffic, 12 Icelandic horses and small horses are available for horse-loving boys and girls of school age who want to gain experience in dealing with horses and riding. At SENN-HOF, the focus is not on equestrian training. Riding rather serves to give the children a good body feeling and a sense for their physical and mental balance. The claim of the SENN-HOF is therefore a pedagogical-therapeutic one.The contact with the horse helps to cope with everyday life with more energy and promotes a healthy self-confidence of the children. The aim of the SENN-HOF is to accompany and support the riding students in their personality development. Riding as a hobby helps to strengthen the will and to reduce fears . The work with the horses is holistic. The children learn to experience and recognize horses as thinking and feeling creatures with very specific needs. The owner of the farm, Mrs. Marlies Senn, is a qualified riding pedagogue and social pedagogue, as well as a trainer C SFRV and a trained movement pedagogue in the Franklin method. She has been running the SENN-HOF since 1989. Pony course for beginners The beginners' course is suitable for children from 7 to 13 years of age. It is intended as a meaningful and long-term leisure activity, which has a positive effect on the personality development of the children. In the sense of therapeutic riding, we strive to give the children a holistic view of the horse as a living being. Care and handling as well as understanding the ponies are important to us. Easy and more difficult exercises on the guided horse should strengthen the joy and the body feeling of the children and promote the desire to ride. Adventure and pony holidays Goals such as joy and fun with each other and in the handling, contact and care of the horses are important to us.Easy and difficult riding exercises for beginners should awaken the desire to ride.Adventure, games and fun around the stable in a rural environment should not be neglected. Riding courses for beginners As a riding instructor, my main focus is on the relationship between the child and the horse, and not on sporting endeavors. Therefore, I try to teach the children to ride with a feeling for the horse and its nature. Riding obliges the children to move consciously on the horse's back and to use their body purposefully in order to obtain the desired reaction from the partner horse. Riding in this sense has a great influence on the healthy development of the child's personality, and especially trains the child's empathetic side. SPECIAL EVENTS Every year there are riding Sundays for the children of the riding courses. We start in the morning and ride for a whole day. The aim is that the children get to spend a whole day with the horses and in the saddle and thus consolidate what they have learned in the riding courses. Of course, the shared experience plays an important role. At noon we make a longer stop with a picnic. FOR THE MOST DEMANDING EYES

CORRECTIVE EYEWEAR Whichever glasses you choose, the quality of material and workmanship must meet high standards. Even with daily use over years, a pair of glasses must do its job. That is why we work with reliable international manufacturers of glasses, where first-class quality, but also a good price-performance ratio are a matter of course. SUNGLASSES In addition to design and fashion, function is the most important factor when buying sunglasses: reliable glare and UV protection for your eyes. This is just as true for outdoor sports activities as it is for strolling around town. Too much ultraviolet radiation can lead to inflammation and serious damage. CHILDREN'S GLASSES We carry a huge children's range of modern glasses, where you and your offspring will easily find the right model. GOLF GLASSES With golf glasses with or without your correction, everything should be ideally matched. Perfect distance vision to read the terrain correctly and be able to follow the ball to the end, as well as see the golf computer on your wrist and rangefinder or scorecard clearly. The view should also be suitable when the position on the green changes. CONTACT LENSES When you choose contact lenses from Besser Optik, you are making a good choice. We will advise you in detail about the individual solutions for your visual acuity. Special contact lenses such as night lenses / Ortho K or lenses for keratoconus are also among our strengths. To stop or slow down the progression of myopia in children and adolescents there are special contact lenses (myopia management). See here. Of course, we will introduce you to the handling and care of your products. With regular controls we do not miss any unwanted changes in the eye and you always have the correct correction of your contact lenses.
